It's a long way from the parking lot VW clutch change but the tools don't seem a bunch better.

Steve A has a really nice cross member shoe built on to his lightweight Pittsburgh Harbor freight jack . Me I thought that it'd be a bunch better by grinding off the raised metal tabs surrounding the center rubber pad. It's a little better but still prone to skipping.

I just got a ATV style to aid in a X member refit and think it'll be better but needs wings to balance lower A arms.

So guy's what works for you? please post a picture.

having shocks removed- using lower studs for attachment- works great
