Mecum Tigers this weekend

Mercum have to be one of the laziest and uneducated auction companies when it comes to tigers.

3 lots and conflicts in description between each description.

First lot they go into great detail about " series" of tigers, as opposed to "mark" yet in the other descriptions they list them as "mark"

Then you have the claim the mkii in orchid green is believed the only one in existence --- except for one of the most published tigers in existence, Graham Vickery's last off the line tiger... And there are others still have that colour.

Research time = 0
Cross checking descriptions between lots = 0

mecum

do the owners write the descriptions for the auction company ?

Disclaimer

Guys the boiler plate at the bottom says seller. b382100281 is the green machine. I could have done a better job on some really important parts :)

I remember that car in its yellow on ebay a few years back.... Vin recreation is certainly a very poor job... But maybe that's a good thing... If it was better less questions would be asked.

Looks like 109, not 100 Gilles 109 is Orchid Green. "only one"? I've owned two myself and I'm sure they are still around somewhere. Used to lovingly call it puke green.

I've always thought if it as baby spew .... To think they could have ordered any colour and went with 109.... Takes all sorts, and it does stand out.... But not for good reasons

Truth in the Listing

At least the seller was telling the truth - "Very rare Orchid Green paint". There is a very good reason it was very rare. (My apologies go to anyone who does prefer this color.)

Something is wrong !!

TAC search mention color 100 !!!!!

Either TAC is wrong on the color

Question ?

Wasn't the very last Tiger made (MK II) a pale green-ish flavour?

Orchid Green

Yes, the last Tiger made was produced in this same Orchid Green. I agreed with the seller that this color is rare, but do not agree that his car is the only one remaining in this color.

Car sold for 65K.
After all of the various auction house fees, What do you think the seller actually netted in dollars?
Thanks,
