MK1 or MK1A?

The car is an early MKIA, it was restored by Mal Clark in the 1990's and then sold to South Australia in the early 2000's IIRC. The car was at the national met this year and the first tim ei had seen it since 1996

Car has a few customisations, though some things in the ad made me smile..:
Engine: Original Shelby 289 cublic inch block - stroked to 302 cui.
While only circa 4500 Tigers were ever built, making them a rare collectors car, parts are plentiful as body parts car be sourced from Sunbeam Alpines and Engine / gearbox parts come from Ford V8s.

I would be quite certain the 289 is not an ex-cobra motor.. and I am wondering what happened to all the other Tigers Rootes built.. at "4500" there must be a couple of thousand mystery cars by those numbers.

Purrty cat

Nice export version tool kit.
I did not know you have Harbor Freight down there

19000 miles in 13 years is hardly rarely driven. To me rarely driven is 50-100 miles a year.
