New door glass

Bought new glass from a local supplier , but they are a bit too thick.
Hard to lift the window with new felt.
The old one (original) have little scratch on them .
Anyone have had this issue with new glass !!!!!

DOOR GLASS

I had the drivers side glass replaced under an insurance claim. The first time rolling down the window it cracked in many places. Rootes used tempered glass which is thinner than safety glass, witch is used by the replacement glass company.
