Nice TIGER for sale in Pittsburgh area

Under 70

Another on eBay too. That's two pretty nice cars asking under 70 . Is this a slightly deflated bubble ?

No, I think a few sold for way to much and this is what the market will really support. just my 2 cents.

Very Nice Looking Car

This is a very nice looking car. It would be nice to see photos of the underside. And it would be even nicer if it came with a TAC certificate.

Agree it's a very presentable looking car. The rear vertical edge of the drivers door seems to have a slightly bowed profile when viewed from the rear 3/4 also has the beginnings of the typical tiger trunk lifting

Underpriced?

Seems to have sold pretty quickly. Maybe it was underpriced?

My opinion...I said it a few months ago and I'll say it again: the market for most collector cars is pulling back or flattening. Trees don't grow to the sky and prices had gone up too far, too fast...it was time for a rest (not talking just Tigers).

At this point, if the dealers/speculators pull back further, we'll likely see a cap on prices for awhile, if not an actual pull back. There are also some macro economic factors to think about...

Macro what

You mean interest rates. I know several guys collect pictures of all that they see, I hope they add them to this thread .

The now white HRO car on eBay is owned by a guy who collects art deco apartment building's and I hear has 100 car's . My info is from another building collector. Maybe the mega buck guys want to take some profits.

The hro tiger was for sale in Nevada (iirc) around 2009 ish on eBay, went for 32500 iirc.. Have it written down in my archive somewhere. Despite description in auction it looks untouched from that original listing

Interest rates are a piece of the bigger puzzle...the actual cost to borrow more likely effects dealers, as they may finance the carrying costs of cars they want to flip. But, macro factors that affect rates are more what I'm thinking about...and the correlative effect on the dollar.

All I really know is my Tiger is worth more than the $1000 and Jet Ski it cost me when I bought it!

Combo post

Since I have drifted from the Philly to the not Malibu eBay but a Hancock park street scene car I thought I'd post a couple pictures. VIN B9472878

I can't imaging shifting with my left hand especially with a Hurst and a inability to do mostly anything left handed:rolleyes:

eBay sometimes lists cars for more than 90 days Craigslist once deleted live in a google cache or on personal computers . Having them here is a great information source please help build it. eBay and Craigslist are the easiest to lift as they are already perfect size :)
