There is a supplier in the UK that is making reproductions of the rare non-peaked Tiger Mark II headlight rims. He has offered the CAT Tiger community a package deal of 5 sets of rims for 495 GBP ($640 USD) including shipping. That works out to about $128.00 a pair versus the $400.00+ for OEM. You can look at his rims on eBay by putting item number 196499916133 in the search bar. His name is Chris and you can ask any questions at his eBay listing .

They are plastic.... if anyone's interested... I have 2 pairs of real ones
Yes was about to mention the same, Chris Spain is the guy doing them.

He is 3d printing them iirc so not sure what type of plastic they are using .. not sure the impact of UV on them either as they will be an external part.

I have several pairs of originals as I run them on my cars , and am always sure to check they are secured tight.... I bought a pair of fibreglass repros out of the UK a few years back... The external profile is ok.. but they are harder to get to fit and stay on...

If the rims are either plastic or fiberglass the top attachment plates should be metal in order to secure them tightly. When installing the rims it's a good idea to hold the peak of the rim a few degrees off center and rotate the rim into place over the bucket mounting tabs. The use of a screw at the bottom is another item of importance.
