..........the one that I think I am most pissed about is the trunk latch. I pulled the gas tanks yesterday to vacuum the mouse nests under them. With my car on jack stands I am just the right height at 6'0" where I do not see the trunk latch catch hanging from an open trunk, but just tall enough that it hits me right on the top of my head when I lean in or out. I must have MF'd that thing 8-10 time yesterday and I have a black and blue mark today on my bald (shaven) head. Ugh!

A humble suggestion if I may. It's a notion that I first came across while studying Zen. Mindfulness. Being-in-the-moment.

While I aspire to this, I am hardly a "master" and often have to remind myself. Especially after banging my own head into something hard or sharp. :)

designs

I wouldn't tell the world that I made the same sunbeam mistake more than once.

Nice to hear of a car with it's original mouse nest.
Alpine mouse nests don't fetch much but Tiger mouse nests are very desirable at the moment. Is it NOS?

Hard hat

Would be nice. , me I try to hang a towel down over it.
It really is easy to miss seeing.

You have done some nice work now make it keyless with a popper or at least wear a ball cap.:)

Only a black and blue mark...

...consider yourself fortunate. A couple months back I am at the St Michaels Concours and I am checking things before the show. Sure enough I catch my head on the trunk latch and gouge a small chunk out of my bald head. Thank god I had lots of cotton polishing towels with me. It took quite a while tom stop the bleeding.

Love the tennis ball tip.

My parents had a 1969 MB back in the 70's, I couldn't tell you how many times I whacked the grille when the hood was open--ouch. On the Tiger even a red rag and some tape would help your situation. :(

It's just marking it's territory . . . . .

Well, it's cold in Pittsburgh right now and my garage has limited heat. So I was wearing a skull cap and that saved any skin breakage. Hence, only the black and blue mark.

Zen and the Art of Tiger Maintenance... Tigers are playful but they do scratch and bite. I have the "doh" moment scars to prove it :)

Let me know if you find one!

That's would be a BIG tennis ball!
