Early on I got a Tiger with a lot of custom parts.

Included was a period correct piece of walnut paneling transformed into the passenger foot well plate. :)

I happened upon a Alpine core that was had enough metal left to beat into one of the nice parts on my old blue MK1a.

One of our members sent me a decent Tiger one to use as a model and shipping was like 12 bucks. I then sent it to Bruce who did the same thing.

Now that I am smarter , well sort of....

My new MK1a has a very nice example complete with original rivets holding the carpet snaps in place.

Now being smarter I took some freezer paper and made a pattern with dimensions to help the next member. So if you are not a member it'll cost you 36 bucks:rolleyes:

Also post here and send on the pattern to the next guy when done.

Maybe you have one with a bottom half gone or maybe you are happy with a piece of paneling I was for a couple years:cool:

Simple tools required drill for spot weld removal torch to re attach or rivet gun Tin ships sander angle grinder ..... easy peasy with a Alpine core. Big pictures available too....

One dollar or one beer :)
