I've had this picture for many many years and never posted it. Have anyone of you seen this before?

Its definitely a Studebaker dealership, but unclear if they sold Sunbeams at that location or somewhere close by.

Very Interesting to see 3 Tigers with factory hardtops and the one in the upper back looks like it could be a GT with the matching painted top.
I count one Alpine and of course an IMP
So here is a new mystery that we might solve. Where is this dealer and who was it?
One of these cars might be yours...

Our Membership Chairman wrote an article about Sunbeam dealerships in the US. I found in his article a Smart Motors, Inc., located at 2608 University Avenue, Madison, Wisconsin. Do you have any idea if this photo comes from there?

Yes, It does come from there I started to look into this after I posted the picture to the forum. This dealership has amazing history!

History of Smart with Rootes Group 1951 through 1969

ADDED in 1951 – Rootes Group (mfr from 1907-1976) added (includes Humber 1898 and Hillman). Lloyd production ends.
1959 – Sunbeam (also Rootes Group) vehicles were added to the dealership’s line-up.
1969 – Our last Rootes Group car was sold.

I've had that print for decades and never looked into the dealer history until after I posted it the other day.

A few minutes ago I was looking at my very first early mark I Tiger brochure that I bought in 1978. When I got to the back page I saw that it was stamped from that dealer. This one is not in good shape, but there was no ebay back then, mostly swap meets, CAT, and STOA etc.

And a free breaking in the clutch service is part of the delivery ! (y) That's has got to be a bit unnerving driving any car on/off a transport trailer.
