I was talking with a TAC official and client yesterday and he told me he knows of a guy who paid 1100 bucks for a AC Housing. Why can't I spray some muriatic acid on one of mine and leave outside for a couple of weeks bang it and drop it a few times.
Went with GTD here as it is a little slow for those of us not gearing up for Monterey. Working on a way to rotate vendor listings.
Some parts have been reproduced and passed as original or left to sellers license. The forum exists as a information resource and a way to become an aware buyer.
I sold a car with a original heater valve as I told the buyer it has the original bracket Whitworth threaded bolts as well I gave it a 5 days or 5' Warrenty it lasted one week and spewed at a traffic light according to the buyer. I bought it off eBay and it made a great display piece and gave me 5000 miles. At STOA United a fellow was busy changing his good modern hose clamps for stock wire radiator hose clamps, not my idea of fun. Once you start on that slippery slope of non stock non original stuff what da ya do?
