Even if you find NOS pieces, they will need to be rechromed. 48 year old chrome does not look good.

pooloo.. i have some nice originals.. but they are in storage and i cant access them for a while. You would be better to look on the Uk site for proximity.. they should be easy to get. A warning, while the hillman/humber etc ones look the same shape the cut out for bumper profile is different so wont fit a sunbeam.
As for NOS chrome.. the NOS chrome parts i have that were well stored are as good/better than most replates... then again.. odds of finding these NOS are limited and they would be worth a fortune., i do have a bunch of NOS hillman ones though

Michael, if you have those treasure in stock ,i will take them! I m not hurry so ,please,just let me know when you will have access to them and the price (i know they will be$$$). I m searching on the net since some weeks now and nothing...

I talked to Rick at S.S yesterday night and he neither have them.
By the way,as i decided to make the car almost perfect this year,i have a list of many parts for Rick (new dashboard,seals,door latch,bottle,side trims,etc) and have booked a new paint for the car.It appears she was originally black (paint code #1). Let her in red ,cause she has success like that (and i like it!) Or come on black ,to match the car ,and it s rare ,i believe,but i m afraid she will be too much "different".
And ,a Christine ,it s red!
What would you do ?
