Palos Verdes 3rd Sundays

Here is what you missed

Bob, Rick, and all you So. Cal. guys and those on holiday from the great white North East.

My kitty is down the line marking her spot.

Not too much info on the funky Jupiter car seen in the last 2 pics. Probably my fault as well as others mocking the strange car however politely.

One joked I wonder if the Mfg. Co. thought of or had other models named after other planets. The whore I am for a straight man set up like that I replied, probably not Uranus..

All that boys will be boys stuff aside it was the home run of the event.

If anyone would like a close up big pic of the engine bay let me know it truly is worth a close look. Iron heads, with Aluminium block,

Nice Photos

Warren,

Nice photos - thanks for sharing. Looks like you had great weather for it. Nice assortment of cars. Marking my calendar for next month. Unfortunately, my Tiger is not green, since the third Sunday in March is St. Patrick's Day.

Next Month

Okay, I will bring the bottle of whisky to add our 7-11 cup of coffee in honor of all the accomplishments of the Irish.

:)

And Some Green Paint

And I will try to remember to bring some cans of green paint, in case anyone wants to change the color of their Tiger. After a few cups of fortified coffee, it will sound like a great idea.

Nicest Tiger there

But the only one as well. several of our Morgan friends as well.

This purrty 1951 Austin was a new addition.

Several Jags a 69 very well attended, here is a few snaps.

Great pics Warren, nice turnout. Holycat--isn't today the 3rd Sunday in March?? I looked it up, St P's Day always celebrated on the 17th.

Doh

That was last year,
This show is every month 9 AM on the 3rd Sat of the month.
The Palos Verdes peninsula is a great cliff seashore drive.
Lots of hairpin curved and switch back roads traverse the area.
One of my first real jobs was a LA Times early delivery in my 36hp VW bug. So them there hills are favorite stomping grounds. Next month the first Sat. Brit cars are featured on Hawthorne at Silver spur. Be nice to have a bunch o Tigers there.

I have EuroSunday next Sunday--they usually attract 100+ cars every month. I am trying to get a few Tigers out but we'll see.......:(
