No real hurry to know as these came from a car that had co-mingled Tiger and Alpine parts.

Just for fun only reply with your answer if you have less than 30 posts to forum,

I am pretty sure on one part the flat steel with sheared off rivets, and have a good guess on others.

Is everyone in a honey do pre holiday fix dat ____ frenzy? Let's hear about those Winter projects!

I have the same bracket(left} don't know were it goes? door hardware maybe?

jute

The bracket on left has the jute like fabric on it, so its hard to say if it was I'm a door/wondow.

C+

Duke, you get a A in Tiger esoterica, a D in reading comprehension or following directions for an overall grade of C+

I wanted to hear from the guys lurking in the shadows.

There is still the flat unidentified part to be I.D. ed.

Okay times up..

How about the flat bracket as a hold down for the strap for the tool roll?
It has a small piece of strap that would indicate it's former function.

Tool Roll Hold Down Strap

0neoffive gets the prize and a A++,he PM'ed me the correct response. He say's that most of the ones he has seen seem smaller.

It is off to the great white North for him to bend up a few. It had the original rivets and the small bit of strap attached so he can compare it to what he's got.

Return to Sendah

Hey Warren; I shredded your return address along with some tax files. OOPS! PM me so I can send the sample back to you. The boys grabbed it and took it apart to copy while I was travelling south. The old Guru said they were not Rootes rivets but still something alien and the strap is horse leather. How he can tell it's dobbin carcass remains a mystery to me. The vote in the shop among the faithful is that the piece is not Tiger tool tie down but something else. Perhaps the more knowledgeable among us can ferret out if there ever was a leather strap tie down?
