I saw was from a Ford supplier Dearborn Classics. There is also a eBay seller in Costa Mesa that sells some vintage stuff. I have one in Garage but it's driver condition. Did you drill hole yet as there are no hole options too.
Thanks Warren. I picked one up from a Mustang supply house. It looks correct but seem to be having trouble fitting it. There a 1" diameter hole (looks original to the car). There is not a lot of room in there and there is a nub on the antenna bracket to lock it in place. Since the hole on the car does not have a notch on it I think the bracket may be wrong.
Do you know the model of the one you found at Dearborn Classics? Or do you have a picture of the fitting for the fitting ?
Sorry, it is mounted in the car and I looked online at Dearborn their pic is really lame. I think the nub you speak of on base is not needed I'd grind off new antenna before enlarging or notching hole in car. Since it was a dealer installed item like mirrors there were lots of choices then. Buy the best you can as the plating on most is rather thin and cheaply made.
