I am restoring a radio console but it did not have the ribbed aluminum bezel that goes behind the radio.
I have only seen photos of it. Is it made of milled aluminum or thin corrugated aluminum?
I much appreciate the help.

Option 2.

There was someone in the UK repro'ing them but tbey had cnc the front iirc. There is also the possibility to find a thin ribbed aluminium stock to use but someone needs to give you the rib and recess dimension.

I calculated from a photograph the distance between the "waves" as 18 waves in 2.25" or .125" per wave. The depth looks to be similar. I can not tell from the photographs if the material is milled or just thin ribbed aluminum stock as you describe.

If you could find somebody to take some hobby store air dry modeling clay you could make yourself a pattern. The trouble is getting somebody to do that for you or loan you the piece.
