I mentioned and posted pics a few months back about having owned this car and selling it before it was finished. Well I reconnected with the present owner. I'm happy to report it's alive and well. Attached are pics from when I bought it, sold it and the last one is today. He and I together saved one that may not have been!

did it still have the dual 4 bbl carbs on it when it burned or had they been removed?
 
They were on it. Mike had removed them for safe keeping by the time I bought the car. The carbs were not even rebuildable. They had so much soot and smoke damage. I glass beaded the intake and put it on my 65 Shelby clone for a while. I think I will build a 347 for this Tiger and put the dual quads on it.

it was a fast car in it's day. I turned left out of the front gate at Mid Ohio one day and decided to push the pedal all the way down. it would set you back in your seat even going up the hill. I was shifting quick and the guy riding with me asked me what I was doing and I said "about 90".
