Road & Track Sunbeam Tiger road test

I was at an estate sale today and there were thousands of old magazines. Spent about an hour looking through them and came away with 40 magazines. All are either Road & Track, Autocar, or Autosport. The had different magazines too but I ran out of time. The ran from the early 50's to the 90's.

There are quite a few Rootes cover cars with the Imp being on at least 9 covers. There are Sunbeam Tiger, Alpine, Rapier, Super Minx, Imp, Chamois and more road tests. The rest of the magazines have some Rootes content and quite a few have Shelby American, Dunlop RS5, etc ads. Can't wait to go through some to see the old advertisements.

tiger v. triumph

Hi Doug, I always felt for the guys that elected to buy a new tiger over a new cobra because the tiger was $1000 or so cheaper.

How would you like to be the guy that bought the Triumph GT6 instead of the mk2 tiger?
