All,

I meticulously stamped all the numbers/letters on the engine decal and when it came time to install the sticker. I found out that the glue on the back had dried up.

What type of adhesive is on the back?:p

TIA,

I would think a rubber cement applied to the firewall and back of the plate would make for a good bond...

It's the same stuff that holds all those rubber/vinyl moldings to car sides. Any dealer parts counter or body shop will have several versions.

Contact Cement

I like the little jar with the built in brush at Home Depot. You can refill it from the 1/2 pint can if you need to. Good to see you back Robert.
