Anyone restored the 260 badge that wants to give some advise,
the powered by ford looks to be a tough spot. Thanks

The originals are flash chromed which gave them a mirror finish for the text, the modern repro ones come out a frosted silver, you could try and use the chrome paint (proper soft chrome, not the rattle can stuff)

The front can be shined up with wet sanding with 1000grit on a flat surface

Am I correct assuming chroming or paint is applied from the backside
