I know my Klatt likes a sale...

Is this the one that was auctioned recently.. and he is doing a buy and flip?

A good reference photo, Michael. You can see the entire lower arch design and follow it from under the rear bumper all the way to the front valence. The old Guru taught us to follow that line as one of the "tells" when assessing historical damage or re-welding & repairing rust.

Nice car!
Love the Pies.
What's up with the square hood and doors, but rounded trunk? The bottom door lines look a little funky. Rocker repair?
.....and it's Rootes!

paul,
there are also some series 4 alpines out there that have square corner doors and hood and round corner trunks. I have a series 5 with the same set up.

randy,
do you want to buy some Chrysler replacement rockers that do away with the curve. they're real straight and they're NOS with the rootes / chrysler tags still on them.

NOPE!

We had a "bring yer own parts" owner hand us those Chrisake rockers a few years ago. They don't just lack the arch (important) but also the front-to-rear pinch weld jog that makes it all happen well . . . . .best to pawn those off thru E-pray with a disclaimer . . . .

randy,
I bought the first set years ago and the second set just so I could say I have two. I just have them for the heck of it. I mainly wanted the metal part tags that were the same as the SAL/JAL tags. i'll never sell them.
