I will bet Smitty or Warren will have a trainload of them . . . .

Jim. You can buy new repro sets from the UK and also NoS come up as the slotted ones were also used on SV alpines, later rapiers and some Hillmans

I had actually bought a new set, and was very disappointed in the looks and fit of them. My 50 year old set was shinier and better fitting. Sold them for what I bought them for.
Thanks for sharing with all though.

Please refresh my memory. I recall the slotted trim rings were on Series V Alpines and Mk2 Tigers and the "X" patterned ones were on the Mk1 Tigers and Series IV Alpines. Is that correct? Were the Mk1a's slotted as well or was there a specific VIN where they switched? I have had aftermarket wheels on my cars for decades, so haven't been exposed to stock wheels for a long time.

They are origional from a Mk1 that was stored from late seventy's to 2011.
They have not been cleaned or touched

The cross hatch trims are specific to the MKI Tiger, not used on alpines.
