Dave, what is the condition of the hinge holes and has this hood ever been fitted to a car? Finally, any idea about the cost of crating and shipping to say Missouri?
Initially just curious, but 400 is a good price.

This might help,
I paid around $280 to ship a LAT hood from Carmel Ca To San Bernardino Ca
and that included packaging. The packaging and size is what drives the price.

I used Greyhound to send Warren some parts--check with them, good rates and quick delivery time. You pack it though.
 
But..

The employees must be former fired DMV employes. I would not send anything they could break.
Remember the American Tourister suitcase in the Ape cage at the zoo?
Cobrakidz did me a big favor but the communication by Greyhound was lame I waited for one day and 1/2 after they said it would arrive. No tracking number no nothing just an It will arrive by this date. Wrong.

They are good if your product is A, unbreakable or B, packed to withstand a Gorilla attack.

You get what you pay for.

I'd try Amtrack or some other responsible shipper that will not beat the crap out of a flimsy gel coated F/G hood
 
Lat Hood is sold

I was able to find a place that would pack it and ship it for $185.
