I saw a video of your car racing a gtr and winning on YouTube uploaded in the last week?
You certainly get away well... And get up through all your 5 gears

HP

Is the current hp rating method the same as it's been since 1973, or have they changed it to something like the "peak hp" rating used on electrical tools? I rode in a recent vintage Shelby Mustang this weekend that supposedly had 600 something hp, it didn't feel as fast as my Tiger which has considerably less, and I'm pretty sure I could beat it in a drag race.

Bob... That's the seat of your pants dyno method.... :p

As for HP.... Many shops give customers the numbers they want... Then there is the accessibility of the power/torque .... Best use dyno running for getting the AFR right... Amazing how a well tuned car will be able to beat a dyno donkey

Hi Jim , The front suspension is a modified Hokenson . The rear is a 3 link coil over with a full floating 8.8 and 3.55 Torsen differential. The transmission is a T5 with an AMC tail housing. The transmission gear set is from G Force with a.82 5th gear ratio.. The engine has an aluminum block (Ford Racing ) with a zero balance Eagle crank and rods. The C.R. is 10.75 . The intake is an Edelbrock Air- Gap port matched and flow balanced. For fuel injection I use a F.A.S.T. throttle body and Big Stuff 3 ECU . I run CAT headers with a 2.5 in exhaust. With the hardtop installed and me in the car the weight is 2480 lbs. 49% front 51% rear.

Thanks for the info. Super cool. Bet your car lost weight with the all alum. eng.
I hear Hokenson is not making those front suspension anymore.
If you are going to the TU in Santa Maria, I'll have to check it out.
Jim

No TU for me , Santa Maria is a long ways from Cincinnati . June 22-25 I'll be at Mid-Ohio for the SAAC national convention .
