Looking for a spare tire steel rim, not sure if mk1 and mk2 are different
Thanks Kevin

Are you wanting "factory correct" ? The tiger wheels ( and late alpine/rooted) have the small stiffening rubs near the wheel nut holes. Also for factory correct the wheels are date stamped so the wheels would correlate to the date if mfg of the car.

I have a bunch that have been sand blasted and stuck in the attic. There might be one dated to match your rig.

Steel wheel

Looking for a friend with a Mk2 pretty sure he would want factory correct with date. Do you go by build date (birthday) or what if so I need to get that from him. Thanks Kevin

Build date would be good, get him to check what his other wheels have. It's likely a '66 but who knows if late enough might a some 67 wheels.

Steel wheel

Original rims were pretty rusty all he can see is a X and a 12 on boses by lugnuts, I guess he's not real picky but I would think 66 would work or at least a rim that matches. Randy would you have something like that. Thanks Kevin

It wuz minus 8 degrees (f) out back this AM. I'll crunch out to the loft a bit later for ya.

Pity I am on the other side of the planet, I have 8 genuine Tiger steel wheels I will have to get rid of sometime.
