Sries l or ll Alpine Gas Cap

My friend left his Alpine's Gas Cap on the trunk after fueling and it's GONE!! Any help on a replacement? Thanks! Gary Haslip

There are 2 variations that were used a simple chrome domed cap as on hillmans and a 3 eared one to match the spinners on the wire wheels.

The 3 ear is rare.. It was also used on lotus engines of the period as an oil filler cap but still hard to fins.

Ebay UK they have the dome style all day lomg NOS but prices vary..

Tell your friend to use the wire teather on the cap and feed it through the small hole in the.filler neck.. Then you cant leave it behind... Does make it a bit more of a faff when fillimg though

Thanks, Michael! His cap was the"knockoff style, but we're not fussy at the moment. I tried to order that U.K. version but wasn't successful. May try again later.
