In talking to Bill G. at CAT Parts, we are all out of SS Brake lines and Oil pressure lines. (Still have some servo bypass lines) And there are no plans to reorder as the vender who made them passed away and for insurance liability reasons. I am wondering if any anybody has a source for these. There are some brake lines for sale on eBay out of the UK, but no Oil pressure lines. In speaking with Rick at Sunbeam Specialties, he has no plans to produce SS Braided lines (liability reasons), but does sell traditional brake lines (rubber) and oil lines (vinyl). The idea of going to Earl's and and having then make up some lines is not that easy. The brake lines would cost more than the ones out of the UK. And the oil pressure line has a a special UK thread that goes on the oil pressure gage end. I think I need help form someone in the UK.

You might try contacting Classic Tube (www.classictube.com). They list fuel lines, brake lines, and caliper lines in their online catalog. They are probably capable of building an oil line, and may already have the specs.

I've seen an adapter for the gauge to the line. I'd like to find a original hose too. I almost reused this Smiths line but it was threaded thru the remote oil filter and had that shadow of a messy breakdown hanging over it .

Too many times I've had trouble with that vinyl gauge line near heat. Instead I use the VDO copper line kit with excellent results. Proper assembly can be tricky to get a good clamping seal so pay attention. Classic tube does a good job although most times I will build from scratch in place. (Proper tooling is a must).

Found a set SS brake lines on e-Bay out of Ohio, $80.00. Hope they do the job.
