Forged 260 pistons needed. It seems that all my normal sources have dried up. Any clues on where 260 flat tops with single fly-cuts can be found? :confused:

Have you checked with Dale? His parts page lists forged aluminum pistons - "Custom Forged Aluminum Pistons, Any Compression Ration and Bore Size". However, there's nothing about the tops or fly cuts.

are those a comon item stateside? I thought 260 pistons were a little hard to come by let alone performance variant... depending on timeline.. venolia would be a good place to start.

Yup: Dale is digging for us. If there's not enough meat in the top to cut reliefs, we'll need to dial back the valve train lift & duration. :D

An excellent set of forged beauties from Dale's. Impressive quality.

PS: Our E-bay listings do reflect the actual shop man hours required plus E-Bay's percentage & value fees. When's the last time you paid for someone else's hobby?

randy's pricing is reasonable. we bought some body panels from him when we were restoring the green car. when we restored the last cross member we also discarded 4 control arms due to bending, etc. factor in dipping, repairs, making fulcrum pins, new upper and lower joints ( we found one set that was too small for the holes) , bushings, painting ,etc and it 's not cheap. good repairs means not getting hurt.
