Anyone know what car these sunvisors are from? They are not Alpine or Tiger . They measure about 14-1/2" X 4-1/2". It looks like they were originally white but were painted black. The sponge has turned to dust but the frames may be of use to someone?

Rick,

According to the Alpine parts list there were four different types of visors from series 3 Alpine on.
part # 2223764 VT 1233
part # 2235235 see data 2G/288
part # 2225773 Vynair design
part # 2244430/31 from B395011028/B395013294 (GT), and B82002524 (Tiger)

Definitely Rootes, probably not Tiger!

There are three different types of headliner material listed as well!

Are they to short or long for a sunbeam? They look like the series 3/IV small rear view mirror visors.
However the outer end prong doesnt seem to have the wedge profile to lock them in positon ?

Hi Michael. They don’t look like any Alpine or Tiger visors I’ve ever seen. I don’t know if they are too long or short. The inside foam has turned to dust but the metal frames are good and may be of use in creating new ones.

The series 3/ IV visors look like this. They didnt have a cutout in the inner edge as the s3/IV had a small mirror not the lager oval mirror of the sv that was much wider.
The repro now all use the late style as it can work for both mirror types.
They really do look like series 3 /IV and early mki visors to me
