I don't see 40k under the hood unless it's still there in green backs. This would make a great driver quality car, love the blue interior with white exterior...don't think I have seen this before.
I wish I knew about this last week as I was in Az for the auctions. Whoever buys this I know where you can get a great "new" air cleaner.

Around again

That car's been on eBay before. I remember the "40K engine restoration" bit, and thought they must have accidentally added a zero to the amount since it also seems it's a stock 260 rebuild. I didn't see anything out of the ordinary in the ONE pic of the engine compartment they posted. And why would a 260 with supposedly that few miles on it even NEED a restoration?

This car was also on Craig's list and I tried to contact them by phone and email at least a dozen times (I am not kidding) with no return call or communications.

The Arizona Craigslist add was up for at least 2 months. I passed on the information to someone who also got no response. It looks like someone purchased it and is going to flip it

I hope someone tells the buyer...

...that 1960's rubber is deader than a door nail. That would be the front end, engine/tranny mounts, foam rubber seats, etc... At $40k he has only just begun... My .02
