SVRA Vintage Race at Fontana Feb 4-6

SVRA is kicking off their 2022 events at Fontana Speedway Feb 4-6.

Rumor has it this will be the last year for the Fontana Road course,

because they plan to reduce the big track size.

Tom Sakai plans to run his Tiger and I plan to run the Weekend Racer Alpine.

Friday is a testing day, that we will not run.

I’ll be there Saturday doing the Car Show game. DW is correct about this probably being the last for the road course.

A good time was had at Fontana.

Tom Sakai took 3rd in BP on Sunday.

And I took a 2nd on Sat and a 1st on Sunday in FP, with the Weekend Racer Alpine.

Great result with a podium for Tom.. What was ahead? 350 Vette, cobra? Is there a link to a results page?

Great effort for the WR Dan.. Read your write-up. What lap times was Tom doing?

You were at 2:19.685 ... Interesting gap.. Wonder how much comes on that long front banking
