I have noticed there is now a smaller file size requirement for images posted to CAT forum.. fair enough. However where i used to see thumbnails where images were posted i now get a small JPEG icon and have to click them one by one to open in a separate window instead of a pop-up slideshow.

Michael,

I noticed the lack of thumbnails & discussed it with Administrator Rick who also had already seen the change.

We have no idea how the software got changed. We have not implemented it nor has the master Forum software been updated. It's a mystery we're trying to remedy.

I noticed the same thing after updating my browser. Thought it had to do with the update but guess not. In a thread at the time had thumbnails and then the links appeared as well. Was clicking the link and then going back. Now just open all links in new tabs and closing them when done. Just my 2 bits worth.

I thought maybe it was a browser of flash update that had caused the change, but dont think it is.. I'm thinking maybe a change in the form settings.

i went back to some of the older threads I had posted and they still have thumbnails that show and then expand and scroll in a pop-up... I looked at the image properties and it seems the old upload process would automatically reduce the files to a 800x600 .. maybe that feature is now turned off?

It would explain why it rejected the pictures i tried to upload until they were under 1024 x 728, maybe it is no longer auto resizing?
