Tiger 1/4 Panel Moffit Badge Hole Layout ?

Hello , and Help ! -

I just had my body shop man install my Brand Spankin' New 1/4 panel from UK . Fit went perfect , looks amazing .
Problem though ......... no holes ! He said , no problem , "Will go off the forward and door holes , shooting a laser down the side" . I say , OK . Time comes to put the 1/4 panel hole layout for the Moffit Badge . He goes to his scrap pile of take-offs , but nothing is there :eek: Over the weekend , scrappers cleaned it out . He states "Don't worry, will transfer from the other side" . I'm not so sure .

Is there a template of layout , or something ? Anyone got any ideas , or am I worrying over nothing .

You don't say which side so I measured my right 1/4. The side trim lines up with the Lion tail and the fattest part of the badge is 7/8" from the rear edge of the 1/4 by the taillight. Good luck.

PS. this is my last Tiger but I am sure it's close to the same as my current one.

The body guy has the right idea. BUT, I have two original bodies in the shop with the trims removed and can map the holes for you if you wish. PM or E-mail . randy

Thanks All that helped contribute to my request . This is what the forum is all about . :cool:

With all this info in hand , I and my body man were able to lay it out exact .

BTW - The measurements are 100% exact as to what the car had per other
side , so side to side are the same .
For those that ask > The passenger rear ( right side of car ) 1/4 panel was replaced .
