Quick question - is there differing styles of gauge bezels year to year?

I’ve seen 2 versions. One is “rounded” and the other is kind of “pointed”.

Below are clocks but I think the styles may carry over to other gauges?

Thx in advance,

The clock in the top picture with the rounded bezel is correct for a Tiger, I have seen the lower picture used. The numerals in the top pic is correct for the MklA and Mkll, while the “radial” numerals is correct for the Mkl’s. Also the two adjustments at 4 and 8 are correct for all tigers.

@Luke-44 smiths gauges were used by many British manufacturers, the gauges like clocks , ammeters, volt metre, vacuum gauges ( basically the optional extra stuff) would be used across many makes...some of the cars had the sharp ridged bezel rins some rounded.

In the series Sunbeam Alpine and Tiger they always used the rounded rims ( sole other rooted cars in different years used the sharper ridged rim)

You can swap the rims between the gauges, just careful benign the little tabs on the back
