Tiger GT on EBAY

Where the H is Alpine?

Not too far from here in San Clemente or Warren's

The engine that goes with it sounds great but? Not for a serious restoration of a rare GT?

40 miles for me

Or more for me. Wow what a nice motor. I am playing hooky from my remodel this week but will be back before this auction ends. If somebody really has to have eyes and hands on this. It's not up my alley as I am thinking maybe that special original paint car or a hot rod track style car, just be happy and live with my current project cars.

I nearly cried this week when a local Tiger left the neighborhood driveway where it sat for 7 years and did not come to my house boo hooo

Yes nice engine, but I would like to see them fit that crank pulley in behind the steering rack . Perhaps they had one of the new front ends in mind.

Interesting the rear parcel tray has no battery cover?

um.. looks like one to me....

ebay tiger

Note the inelegant removal of metal behind the shifter opening on the driver's side.

At first glance I thought it was for a t5 installation but it looks like that material was cut out so a wider seat could be fitted.

Gone

The eBay listing has ended. Was it pulled by the owner or was there a problem that caused eBay to pull it?

Yea, good luck with that water pump also - it'd be poking clear through the radiator. I put an electric pump on mine with a motor that's physically smaller than the one pictured, and had to do a LOT of cutting, welding, and machining on the pump housing to lose enough projection so it didn't hit the radiator... Is that an A/C compressor in the generator location?
Nice motor - not sure it's for a Tiger...

World class find

Knowing the serial hoarder of this car:) and Sunbeams as a AC Housing client the story was priceless on the acquisition. As in real estate location, location, location. I now wish I had posted the pics, and that I was not the early and close smart bird that gobbled this one up.
It got a TAC at last Bud's shop election meeting.
