HI TO ALL. I AM A NEW MEMBER HERE AND AM LOOKING FOR A TIGER. I HOPE SOMEONE HERE MAY BE ABLE TO HELP. I AM OPEN TO LOOKING AT ANYTHING FROM GOOD SOLID ORIGINAL, TO MODIFIED TRACK, TO FULLY RESTORED CARS. THANKS IN ADVANCE - GREG. :)

Have you spoken to the local Sydney guys in the Sunbeam Club there. I am quite sure there was a Red MKI RHD Tiger for sale in N.S.W recently... might be worth a look. :cool:

Sorry Duke, I wasn't really yelling at anyone, didn't mean to offend.
Michael, the red one belonged to a guy from Avalon on Sydney's Northern Beaches, about 20 minutes north of us at Curl Curl. I spoke to an old mate of mine a week ago about the car, he knew the owner and the car well, but it has been sold unfortunately. Do you know a Jeff from Pennsylvania ?.
Oneoffive, I intend to do as you suggest, money is too hard to come by at the moment to waste it. I will wait patiently for the right car. My brother in law has a nice Mk1A, I have always liked his car and as I have several Mustangs I would like to add a nice Tiger.
I have been watching flea bay, but it's hard to know what you're getting from the other side of the world. I saw one just sold for just under $20K, seemed to need some work, but appears to be value at that price ???.

i do know Jeff from PA... i assume you are reffering to the blue racer he has for sale. I did mention that car on the board here a little while back. I have quite a bit of info on the car and can be a charecter refference for jeff :)

There is a chap in Queensland that has a Mk1a and a MK2 I believe he will sell the MKia. It has won awards so the price is at the upper scale. If interested the car won a award at the latest Bathurst 2012 rally (or so i was told)

The car steven is reffering to would be this one:





The car is ex- Terry Sully from Victoria. It's been built more as a stock car.. as in factory spec.. no upgardes. I did the concourse judging on it in Ballarat over the queens birthday weekend.
