Not a MKII but I had to add this as you did say "any price" and I guess Tigers are going up.

"One of 15 Tiger GT's made for the US market, and one of 11 thought to survive by the Tiger Registry. It was meticulously restored and has a show-winning history. It is priced at $149,500."

There is a thriving cottage industry that involves buying a beautiful Bill Atalla restored car and then trying to flip it a few weeks later at a price that is 50% higher than what Bill sold it for.

Nothing wrong with that I guess, it's just annoying that there are so many middlemen involved.

Reflection

Looks like my old Honda 305 in the reflection in the background. Wonder why he's giving it up? STOA has up graded their site so you can look up vins and other data if you are either a member, more details. Non members just get to verify if it was TACed by vin no.

What a nice job on Bill's old car. I am sure it is really nice in person. I missed the chance to see it in person. The car got the supermodel treatment with a little photo shopping notice how they forgot to gap the doors on the passenger side.

Still on the hunt for an MK2...

Hi Guys,

I have gotten several replies regarding my search for an MK2... Most have been MK1As which are nice, but not what I am looking for. Please send me a private message if you know of an MK2 for sale. I will consider one that needs work and also one that is restored.

Best,

Wow the $150k Tiger GT sold. I did not like the Police Interceptor badge on the trunk, kinda tacky.
