Tiger Steering column: Gloss or Semi-Gloss?

After bead blasting and priming my steering column, I realized that I didn't check the paint finish before blasting. Can someone tell me if the steering column was originally gloss black or semi-gloss black? Also, do the column bearings just take chassis lube grease?

Satin or semi gloss black is correct buddy.
