When it was announced the Track was closing, I set a goal to run as many
events there as I could.
History has Riverside Raceway closed July 2 1989, with an SCCA Road race event.
Up to that time, there were SO MANY "Closing of Riverside" Events,
as it turned out, No one really knew when the last event would be.
But, as a Vintage Race prepared car, there were few events that I could
participate in.
The last 2 events I ran at Riverside were a SCCA Solo 1 Event and a Porsche
Club event.
...At least that is the chronological order I remembered them in.
But History is a bit weak on the date of the Porsche event.
Youtube has videos of the Solo 1 event with dates of June 24 and 25 1989.
The calendar has the last SCCA event the following weekend, I'm still trying to nail down
the dates of the Porsche event.
At the very end of this Solo 1 AMC video you see my Black Tiger parked in the Pits,
just before the AMC turns into the Garage.
I have Video of that event and the Porsche event as well.
This post is to remind me to dig up old Riverside movies and Tape.
And as it turns out, hopefully, will list the Tigers that ran at Riverside Raceway.
(in reverse chronological order?)
