Tiger's For Sale 7/24/11

Lowest miles per lifetime ??

Well, I've been allowed to look at 3 Tigers in a private secured collection of many breeds. One of those Tigers is an early MK 1 with almost a whopping 700 miles on it. Under close supervision by the very protective (read badass) caretaker, I got to sit in and examine the piece. My goal is to outlive that old guy and . . . . . . . . .

Randy,

I assume that said caretaker/owner would not permit photos, and if they did that if you posted them it would be a big NO NO?

Would be amazing to see a factory fresh car.. what was it like? How early a car was it?

Shoulda, woulda, but couldn't

No cameras allowed, no info allowed. My requirement was only to install one of my re-man Girling servos on a big Healey. After a short discussion about sitting problems & decay. I was asked (firmly) to leave but be available ?? Never got to meet the owners although a thank you note showed up after the car was used. The Tiger was pristine and new as I remember them with the flaws and quirks that came with the breed. The entire herd of critters in the climate controlled complex were a gift to wander with. Gotta admit to a bit of a big grin when I think of the moment.
