I want to replace my damaged Wood dash with a better original.

For the Red Streeter.

Funny thing, the Black and Yellow Racer has the best original dash,

of all the Tigers I have.

BUT, the racer Tech people would like to see NO burnable WOOD

in a race car.

... a bit of a conflict with "Vintage/Historic" and Safety.

Swap the race car out for an alpine plastic dash? Lighter and can use the woog one in the road car?
 
Have you found source for new dash? A fellow Tiger owner here in Denver is hoping to get one
 
I'm still looking for an Original dash.

I thought Dale would be a good original source, but no.

And Dale was not happy with the Repos recently available,

so started making his own.

...only to find the labor necessary is Significant!!

I'll keep an eye out for an original a while longer before I pick a new repo.

How about re-laminating the original wood dash or as some guys have done, laminate a bakelite plastic dash with an veneer.

Dan, I have a tired & worn one that I was going to veneer (like I have the time).
