Washer Bottle

Randy, is thus a Tudor bottle with the rootes logo cast in that you want or the oksin bottle with the tudor sticker?
 
Early MK 1A

It's for our own early MK 1A (#78). Not sure which would have been the correct critter?

The early embossed logo one? I have a nice patina bottle only no cap no bracket and I still have that 7" booster core laying about.

Randy quite a few available now on ebay UK... But measure height and diameter as there are many sizes. Moss motors used to sell them too iirc.

Also as a side note I should have said silkscreened not sticker for logo... You can get the repro sticker to label a generic one.

sunbeam specialties has had new washer bottles for several years. they are listed for use in tigers. selling price 31.50 give him a call and see if they suit your application.

Found the screen printed Tudor in the UK, thanks. Now, if someone has a nice new embossed Rootes they not too fond of . . . . . .

sunbeam specialties sells new bottles with the rootes logo. just like originals only they're white. not yellowed.

Just a note... Winner of Lord Rootes has a NOS bottle, in package, and it is stated as whiter than yellow. Likely the years in a hot engine bay may affect coloration over time.

As does everything...over time...

Bottles are sold by Victoria British Moss Motors Sunbeam Specialties and probably 15 different sellers on eBay U.K.

Call me strange but even on a restored car I like the look of a slightly aged one .

How many actually have wiper fluid in them and have working pumps anyway?

There was a time during the college days (daze) when the bottle held vodka or gin with the plumbing routed to the glove box . . . . .(true story)

all of my cars that use bottles have the new bottles and working pumps. the new bottle looks so good with a well detailed engine compartment.
 
Water bottle

Rick (SS) sell a Rootes embossed water bottle which have a 35/8 diameter good for MKI and early MKIA , late MKIA have a Tudor logo on the bottle , many UK seller sell a Bottle GWW918K which his 3 inches in diameter and will probably be loose in the holder.

this is a better photo of the bottle SS sells. if you look close you can see the outline of the rootes logo area facing to the front of the car
