Washington Tiger Personalized Tag

I am on holidays on Maui and was in a cheeseburger place in downtown Lahaina today. They have the ceiling covered with real licence plates/tags from all over North America. I looked up from my table and noticed a custom Tiger tag from Washington. I'm curious to know the story behind this tag, who owned it and how it got there. Anyone know?

The spelling might indicate the previous owner was a fan of Winnie the Poo characters more than orphaned British sports cars.

Tony tomaselli UK based dual mkii owner ( also forum member) has a nice cross branding Winnie/ sunbeam mkii.... Maybe it's a reference to the rear axle of the tiger liking to " bounce bounce bounce".

"Tiger" after all. I heard of 2 Tigers there on Maui. One of them is a client has a Tiger and the Alpine that was on eBay a short time back,but you know that already Canbeam
