Guys this is the second or third time around,

How can you forget a broken 289K code motor and such a nice collection of parts.

Maybe he should JB Weld the block and sell it on :(
 
Is this Alpine Tiger well known in the community?

Is the VIN listed as a fraud somewhere?

At least he is not trying to disguise its legitimacy.
 
I don't see a vin listed so not sure if it has the Alpine vin or a Tiger vin from the donor car. I wish ebay made the sellers list them as a lot of times it would clear up a lot of mystery before a sale is made.
 
Suspect

When the bid comes in in the last few seconds. I hope it looks as good in person. It for sure is sporting the Tiger vin and the pic is too low res to make out the numbers. It does look to be a 86 code tag so this is one to be on the look out for it can make out the F21KA engine group so that makes it a B38200XXXX:eek:

I copied the pic to my computer as the blow up is limited thru eBay system on close inspection it is a Tiger tag or a average copy, that's the best I can do.

Tiger vin?

Still an Alger? Alpine bodied Tiger. Alpine V-8. Value as a fraud (sold as a Tiger) may be higher if it carries a Tiger VIN rather than Alpine VIN.
