Put new seals around windshield never could get the lower frame to fit tight anyone else had this problem? Maybe a bigger hammer. Kevin

Windshield frame

I had worked pieces of rope between the rear glass and rubber seal to push the seal out to fit the frame on my hardtop. I don't know if you could glue the seal to the frame first and then install the windscreen. There might be gaps between the glass and seal which could be filled with bedding compound or caulk. Maybe

Don't worry.
When you fit the frame to body seal and tighten it all down, the gap will close up.
If you haven't yet riveted on the vertical stainless trims, that will help too.
