Does anybody know where one can purchase new or used clear lenses and inside bulb reflectors for the Wipac reverse lights?

I can't confirm this , but been told ........ The '67 VW back-up lights are made by "Wipac" ( From memory , look very close as what Rootes used ).

So may be as simple as looking up a VW vendor ( ? )

I believe that Cortinas of the same vintage used the WIPAC backup lights. Not sure that finding parts for Cortinas is much easier, though.

Brian, the rapier fastback, cortina mkii and Aston v8 all used a flush mounted wipac with the same lens and the reflector is likely a fit to.

They can be found on ebay uk quite cheap, do a search for " wipac + reverse "

the lenses for the flat mount lights are the same but the light mount can not be used. the bulb mounts in the light body and is not a push and turn bulb. I guess it could be called a bullet bulb. most of the flush mount lights have plastic clips to hold the lense instead of the metal one used earlier. there are also wipacs that used a different lense with a stamped metal rim surrounding the body to hold the lense. the lights used on the fastback rapier looks the same as tigers and alpines but is a top mount light instead of a back mount of the style used on alpines and tigers. they can't be mounted to the rear valance.I know of several tigers that have the top mount lights but to mount requires making a bracket to mount the light to the bumper. if you need the inner reflector you'll probably have to buy a set of lights on e bay. you'll find that most people that sell the lights list them on various marque sites since they also fit cortinas and other cars.
