Hi All
I just noticed that I have a white wire floating around unconnected under the dash. Actually it is 2 wires that exit the harness and terminate in a single spade connector. All gauges, instruments, and switches work perfectly. The only place I can think of where it might connect (according to the wire diagram) is the tach.
The PO installed a pertronix system. Is it my understanding that such a system would change the tach wiring. Correct? My tach has 2 green wires connected in addition to the wires for ground and illumination...and works perfectly.
Also, if it is the old tach white wire, is there any current in the unconnected wire? :O Just curious since I noticed the insulation was frayed/melted in places.
Thanks
