Wooden Nickel on BaT

"Featured in the Book Of Norman"...for all the wrong reasons! Nice work done on the car, however.

Would be a fun Alger... Throw some alpine badges on the wings and enjoy.

I do fint it odd how they make a fuss about it having the " tiger" fuel tanks....

Seems people are moving from 15" to 16" wheels now.... Certainly would make for a very stiff ride on a tiger with such shallow tyre sidewalls...

I don't see many switching from 15's to 16's here in CA, but there are certainly a number of cars on the bigger wheel around and about. Particularly as we go forward, 15's will continue to provide the best selection of tires from which to choose...unless going to 17's...ugh.

Great looking car - buy it and enjoy it. Leave the Tiger badges on, no different than driving a Cobra replica or any other replica.

There is a Huge Difference

There is a VERY BIG difference. How many replica Cobras have a VIN plate (or numbers) purloined from a real Cobra and have the car registered as a Cobra? That is the problem with this car. If the car still sported the Alpine VIN tag and was registered as an Alpine, then I would agree completely with the replica Cobra analogy.

If the car is meant to be a "Sunbeam Tiger Tribute", as quoted in the ad, then why is it registered as a Sunbeam Tiger?
