Looking for a NICE set of CHROMED , Rootes Cars , Non-peaked HEAD LIGHT Trim Rings.

I have a few NICE peaked models to TRADE (3) sets . One clip type , two screw on type .

Or ........ If you prefer "CASH IN HAND" , I can do that as-well .

Thanks , Bosspwrd -

The non peaked rims were used on mkii it get and very late sv alpines, but they were painted. The chrome ones were from the late 50's gazelle and husky and found their way onto many of the scca racing alpines and tigers in the states.

RE: Headlight Chromed Rims

Are you talking about rims that fit MK1 or round MK 11?
I guess the ones I'm looking for would be the "rounded type" of them late '50's Rootes Huskies . Heard that easier to acquire than Mkll models .

All much of a muchness in terms of ease, they come up on eBay a few times a year, but bidding is quite competitive . I have the chrome non parks on my Alpine and Tiger. Clean look.. But makes CSR appear shorter

I've been looking for a set for my Series III for some time. I'm not going to give up $500+ for a pair.

Once all the MKII's are restored, the price will come down! Bng

We wonder

How many would actually be needed and be marketable and at what price. I suspect there are a pretty fair amount of SV Alpines that gave up their headlight rings that would welcome a reproduction. I prefer them but cant get my set to fit my car.

The racers like them as a more streamlined version.

Gary, there are scads of the early rings available and the panel maker in UK has the early style on their parts list.

Fill my crate Please .....

Just might have that panel maker of UK put a couple in my crate of parts ordered . Certainly won't be chromed , but can get them done . That way I can control how much "Bling" I want .;)
