After over 20 years of ownership, I will be selling my Sebring Alpine this month on Bring-A-Trailer. This is one of three original factory team cars that ran in the 1962 12-Hours of Sebring. The car was driven by Tom Payne and Joe Sheppard to 9th in class and 32nd overall. The car has been completely restored to show car standards. Between 2009 and 2018, it participated in numerous vintage races along the West Coast, as well as a vintage support race at the 12-Hours of Sebring on its 50th Anniversary in 2012. So if you know someone who may be interested in a Sunbeam Alpine with race history, please keep an eye on BAT. (The ad is likely to be out in 3-5 weeks.) Steven Alcala

Just want to say that it has been a pleasure to see it run around Laguna (regularly). Thank you for your stewardship and for sharing with us spoiled NorCal folks for years. Derek Daily

The Sebring has a new home. Good luck to the new owner. If anybody wants to talk to me about how this whole BAT thing went, I am scheduled to be at Streets of Willow on July 15th. running D.W.s Alpine.
It's an hour and a half away, $20 to get into the track and its could be 100 degrees.

Steve,

Hope it found an appreciative owner.

Will they be racing it?
Is it staying in the states?
