I have an Aviaid Tiger 8 qt oil pan that I will install. Question for anyone who is using this pan--does the Tiger dipstick tube and/or dipstick need to be bent or modified so that the dipstick can drop down into the pan?
I'm not in a position to install the pan yet, but when I eyeball from where the dipstick will come through the timing cover into the pan, it looks like something has to be modified so the dipstick can clear the front mounting for the anti sloshing baffles in the pan.
What modification to the dipstick tube and/or dipstick will I need to make? Any other tricks to installing this pan?
